OK, so I collected a bunch of them in one place, uploaded and created a slideshow. Only the freaking html for the slideshow has an error in it somewhere. Fucking image shack! GGRRRR!!!!!!
So here's the link in case you want to see what it looked like when, as my daughter's best friend says, "the apocalypse occured."
Warning, they're pretty fucking depressing pictures.

From now on when I open my mouth to complain about the weather, I'll remember these images and...stop.
oh. my. gosh.
ditto TOD
:(
Holy moly!!!
i am speechless.....blessings to those affected by this apocalypse.
Yeah, depressing. Scarey. What the hell have we done to our planet that this is becoming more frequent? There was an ice storm like this last January, only further north of us. Just as much damage. A couple others in the last few years in the surrounding area that also missed us. Yet everyone that I've talked to who has lived in Oklahoma all their lives, or a large part of them, says the same thing. That they don't remember the weather being like this when they were growing up.
Debris piles remain in front of nearly every house. My own stretches nearly 14 feet long, 6 feet deep, nearly 5 feet high. The pecan tree is gone. We took it down completely. The arborist came to look at it and said there wasn't enough left to salvage. That tree stood on this land more than 70 years. Gone in the blink of an eye. I know. It's only a tree. Yet I am so damn depressed about it. Can't shake this. Been trying and can't.
